Jörg Haider's impact on the Austrian Free Party (FPÖ)

This bachelor's thesis deals with the impact of Jörg Haider on the development and changes of Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) mainly in the time of his chairmanship of the party on the federal level between the years 1986 and 2000, when the small party, troubled by infighting between the German-nationalist and the liberal wing, gradually transformed into a practically unified right-wing populist party. The aim of this thesis is to define the influence Haider had on his party given the party's exponential rise in popularity, a trend that culminated in the federal election of 1999, where the FPÖ won a staggering 26,9 % of votes. The research therefore focuses on Haider's personality and party governance, which includes his way of making decisions within the party, pushing through his ideas, dealing with the opposition of his party colleagues, and, last but not least, his political and ideological directing of the party. Haider's behaviour within the party, and in public, is also analysed in the thesis, with regards to the behaviour of the other members of the FPÖ. The thesis also deals with other time periods of Haider's life and the FPÖ's existence. Chinese development assistance in Central Asia

This bachelor thesis examines Chinese development assistance in Central Asia, specifically in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Over the past few years China has become the largest donor in the region, which contributes to China's growing influence. This thesis sets out to explain political motives of Chinese development assistance and analyse Chinese projects in the countries. In this thesis I explain the traditional concepts of development aid and the Chinese alternative, I also describe the development of foreign relations of the People's Republic of China with the countries of Central Asia, and Chinese activities and interests in the region. In my own analysis, I examine the allocation of Chinese development assistance by sector, and total amount of funding distributed according to traditional and Chinese definitions of development cooperation. The main result of this thesis is that the provision of Chinese development assistance in the region is determined primarily by China's own strategic and political interests, rather than altruistic interest in economic growth and improvement of living conditions in the countries of interest. Control of public service media. Historical analysis of the membership of the Czech Television Council and the Czech Radio Council and their media reflection

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the control of public service media and provides a historical overview of the membership of the Czech Television Council and the Czech Radio Council. It focuses on a reflection of the media's reports on the election of the membership of the media councils. The aim of the reflection of the election of the Czech Television Council and Czech Radio Council by the media, is to find out how the selected media reported on the topic and what topics it dealt with in connection to the election of the Czech Television and Czech Radio Councils. The first part of this thesis is focused on public service media and their control bodies. Firstly, the concept of public service media is defined, then attention is focused on the Czech public service media and their problems in legislation. Additionally, the topic of control of public service media, their current status and problems is elaborated upon. At the end of the first section, the television crisis is discussed. The subject of the second section is on a historical overview of the membership of the Czech Television Council and the Czech Radio Council from 2001 to 2019. Elections of directors of public service media from perspectiveof selected newspapers and news websites

The Masterˈs thesis deals with an answer of public service media and a way of their representation in selected newspapers and news websites. Due to the importance of public service media as a guarantee of the balanced and neutral news and because of their specifics to commercial media, this thesis focuses on the way the other media write about them, on the example of the last elections of directors of public service media. The first part explains the specifics of public service media, their progression, the actual position and problems. Further it concerns concrete, czech public service media and there searched phenomenon, i. e. the election of director of public service media too. The second part is my own research. I researched the way of representation of the election of director of Czech Radio in the year 2016 and the elections of directors of Czech Television and Czech News Agency in the year 2017 in the journals Hospodářské noviny, Mladá fronta DNES and Právo and on the news websites IHNED.cz, iDNES.cz and Novinky.cz. The method of research was qualitative content analysis due to keep an open access to the found informations. Metamorphoses of the magazines for children and adolescents published before and after 1989

The aim of this thesis was to describe metamorphoses that have occurred in children's magazines, which were published before 1989 and whose publication continued after the Velvet Revolution. Comprehensively are analysed magazines Mateřídouška and ABC mladých techniků a přírodovědců (from the originally planned six journals, which meet the selection criteria) since their inception to the present, on the basis of selected years in five- year intervals. Although the description of the literary component constitutes the basis of this thesis, attention is also given to the overall content and appearance, particularly the influence of political events on given periodicals. The assumption was that the biggest changes in all examined aspects occurred in Mateřídouška and ABC mladých techniků a přírodovědců after 1989. Carried out the research, it was found that in the case of both magazines same trends occurred on their pages: articles, reports and literary component have been gradually replaced by an amusing component, e.g. contests, quizzes, riddles (even before 1989); literary component significantly decreased in both cases after 2000; after the Velvet Revolution, both periodicals can be described as apolitical (whereas until 1989 its content was strongly influenced by political events in our country). How the Constitution of the CR was formed: political contexts, persons, influences.

This thesis deals with topic of creation of the Constitution of the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis was to map all relevant circumstances that led to approval of the final form of the document in December 1992. The thesis is divided into chapters that deal successively with historical circumstances, sources of inspiration, various actors involved in the creation of the Constitution of the Czech Republic, the sequence of negotiations and finally with critical issues that provoked widespread debate. The question was how the Constitution was influenced by previous proposals and other sources. The finding that these effects were substantial and that actors of creation of the Constitution explicitly invoked them is partial result of the work. Another question was how the text of the Constitution itself was affected by specific political influences. Based on an analysis of various historical documents, it appears that an attempt to influence the constitution-making process by the government coalition was strong, however, in the result there were compromises in the framework of fundamental issues accepted because there was need to adopt the Constitution in the Czech National Council in December 1992, which was eventually successful.

Federal Republic of Germany, as one of the key members of the European Union and the Eurozone, attracts the attention of media and politicians from around the world in the last years - especially in the context of the current economic crisis since 2008 - primarily in terms of the further development of EU, but also in terms of finding ways of solving to the crisis. In this bachelor work will be processed media image of policy of FRG (as one of the key players of European integration process) in major print media in Czech republic (Lidové noviny, Mladá fronta Dnes, Právo, Hospodářské noviny). This work is going to take into account the newspaper reporting and the journalism commentaries of these periodicals from the years 2008 ? 2012, mainly from a comparative perspective.

Political marketing in the municipal elections 2010: The Case study Karvina

The thesis examines the influence of political marketing on the election results of municipal elections in Karvina in 2010. The first part focuses on the theory of political marketing. The next section defines municipal elections according to the law and presents the historic overview of the election results of local elections in Karviná since the foundation of Czech Republic, depending on the national political situation. The final chapter analyzes technics of political propagation and campaign themes.
